Yoga for Homebirth Preview
Each week or fortnight, we focus on one of eight key topics relevant to your homebirth journey.

Sample Module: Embrace Space

We recommend having a small space at home that will be come your Sadhana Space (practice space) for Yoga for Homebirth.
This would be somewhere that you can be undisturbed as you attend the live calls (if you plan to do so) and that you can see as a sacred space for your home practice. Somewhere that there is enough space to move your whole body, plus lay down comfortably.
It doesn’t have to be somewhere that is kept solely for this purpose if you are limited for space, just so long as you can re-create a similar atmosphere and attitude of care for yourself and the space each time you practice.
Some things you may like to have in your space:
pillows or bolsters
a mat or rug
blankets
a journal
a candle
water or a cup of tea
one or two items that are meaningful or sacred to you on your pregnancy, birth and parenting journey
easy access to a chair or couch and a yoga block or some thick books
Don’t worry if you don’t have all of the items mentioned, they are not compulsory, and you can still quite successfully participate without them. They are just ideas if you do wish to prepare ahead of time. You are free to be as minimalistic or lavish with your space as calls to you.
